Details about Geoffrey Edelsten’s only son, Matthew Beard
Although Geoffrey Edelsten had no children with his ex-wives, it is said that he had a secret child named Matthew Beard who is a bodybuilder. Rumors have it that his mother is known as Isabel Beard, who used to work as Edelsten’s receptionist.
Beard grew up without his father but was reportedly in touch with him via phone calls. During Edesten’s funeral on June 16, 2021, he was spotted alongside other well-wishers.
In honor of his father, the bodybuilder had his father’s surname inked on his torso just above a tattoo of a tiger and two guns.
Following his death, Geoffrey Edelsten willed Matthew over $50,000 plus $1,000 annually from the will’s date in 2017 to the time he died in 2021. He did not leave much to his son because he stated in the will that he provided more than enough for him while he was alive including during his difficult moments.
According to reports, Edelsten’s will states that he did not include Brynne and Gabi because he made “substantial and excessive provisions” for them during their marriages. Also, the will did not mention Edelsten’s first wife, Leanne even though she was listed alongside his former wives on his death certificate.
Brynne Gordon has since lodged papers in the Victorian Supreme Court contesting the final will of her ex-husband which left $300,000 to his friend Lewi Karalis and $100,000 to his former school Melbourne’s Mount Scopus Memorial College.
Geoffrey Edelsten’s ex-wives were once said to have one thing in common: the flamboyant lifestyle. While Leanne Nesbitt is now pursuing a career as a nurse, Gabi Grecko is focused on making her music career work. Brynne, on the other hand, has continued to be in the spotlight for either her love life or old habits that keep coming back. Although Matthew Beards had a share in Geoffrey Edelsten’s will, it is still unclear whether he would have to share his inheritance with Brynne. Regardless of that, neither of the three wives would have to depend on what’s left of Edelsten’s estate.
