The Booty warrior was initially sentenced to just 10 years in prison but would end up spending 44 years behind bars. How did this happen? In 1979, Fleece was sentenced to 10 years in Kentucky State Penitentiary, for robbery.
His sentence was increased by 18 years in 1987 on additional charges of Wanton Endangerment and 1st Degree Assault. Wanton Endangerment is when an offender engages in anything that causes substantial danger and physical injury to another person.
In 1990, another 20 years were added to his sentence after he was charged with assault on a Corrections officer, four consecutive times.
He was Accused of Sexually Assaulting 157 Men While in Custody
While in custody, Fleece was accused of sexually molesting over 157 men. His victims included inmates who sagged their pants and those who covered their mouths when they coughed. He saw that action as an act of seduction and an invitation to rape.
The ex-convict was quoted as saying “In prison, booty is more important than food and water”. He was known for his straightforward advances toward inmates and even security guards whom he found attractive. He gave them an option of going the easy or the hard way leaving them with no room for saying otherwise.
Fleece Johnson Was Rejected for Parole 13 times
From 1981, after serving 20-50 percent of his sentence, The Booty warrior was up for parole 13 times. All these times, it was denied because of his history of sexual assault while he was incarcerated.
Fleece Johnson had numerous cases of violence against inmates and officials who he thought disrespected him.
He was Released from Prison in 2015
After 4 decades of being locked up, Johnson was granted parole on June 28, 2015. The prison officials classified him as low risk after a risk assessment rating. His proposed date of release was September 1, 2015.
However, it was reported that he was officially released in June 2016, but arrested a few days later for armed robbery, and sent back to prison.
In 2021, American rapper, Silento, was faced with murder charges after being accused of killing his cousin. While commenting on his arrest, Johnson said it would be refreshing to see a young lad like the “Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae” crooner come in and show him how to “whip and nae nae” personally. He added that if he doesn’t cooperate, he will have to show him his whip because he was going to get the “nae nae” one way or the other.
This further proves that the sex offender has been locked back up.
