3.Fergal Lawler Was A Founding Member of The Cranberries
He and Hogan brothers Mike and Noel had grown up in Limerick and met in the 80s. They shared a love for English/Indie music. This further cemented their collaboration. They later met Niall Quinn who was singing with his own group, the Pitchers, and met with them.
In 1989, the four formed the Cranberry Saw Us but Quinn left to concentrate with his former band. Quinn remained good friends with members of the Cranberries.

After Nail Quinn left the Cranberry Saw Us In 1989, the band started looking for a new lead singer. Quinn recommended, a friend to his girlfriend’s sister. Dolores O’Riordan was recommended.

5.Stiff Competition To Sign The Band

7.Lawler Worked With Another Band During The Hiatus
Fergal was a member of the Low Network during the Cranberries hiatus. In 2007, the band released its first album.
His other collaboration was with Walter Mitty . he worked as a producer and musician with the Realists and Last Days of Death Country.
8.They Lost Dolores Mary O’Riordan In 2018
The band faced a tragedy in 2018, Dolores’s died in her hotel room. She had drowned in the bath due to excess intake of alcohol, it was so tragic for the band. Reports from the corona concluded that it was an accidental death.
9.The Cranberries Finally Disbanded In 2019.
Following the death of their colleague, Fergal, and the other band members separated. Their seventh album was in April of 2017and it was the last time the band played together with Dolores.
