Richard Allen popularly known as Dickie Allen is widely recognized for his unique brutal vocals. Dickie Allen joined the ‘Infant Annihilator’ band, in 2016.

The Infant Annihilator is known as an ‘Internet band’ as most of their performances have been studio projects though changes are being made and possibilities of becoming more of a live performing band are in view. They were founded in Kingston upon Hull, England, United Kingdom, in the year 2012.

1.He joined the ‘Infant Annihilator’ in 2016 As a Replacement for Dan Watson.

While Kitcher was drumming for fellow UK band ‘Desolated’ during their first tour, he met Dickie Allen in person for the first time.

Allen had been on the tour with the band ‘Traitors’ who were on the lineup for the tour. Kitcher was convinced about Dickie joining the Infant Annihilators when he heard his voice in person.

On the 1st of June, Dickie was officially announced as a member of the Infant Annihilators.

2. Dickie Allen Was A Past Vocalist for Other Bands

Dickie was a part of the following bands as their lead vocalist;

  • Misanthropic Tyrant from 2010 to 2012.
  • Dealey Plaza from 2012 to 2013.
  • Abiotic from 2013 to 2014.
  • Bludgeoned Beyond Reason in 2016.

Currently, apart from Infant Annihilators, he lends vocals to the following bands;

  • Scumfuck from 2017 to date.
  • The Pecan Sandies from 2017 to date.

He has also had sessions and had appearances for many other singles.

Eddie Pickard who works the Guitar/bass and Aaron Kitcher who plays the drums are both from England.

Dickie, is the only American in the band.

However, the former band member who Dickie replaced is also American.

Infant Annihilators have never played live and have never been on tour either.

Former vocalist for the band, Dan Watson used to record with the band by sending his vocals to their members.

Pickard and Kitcher wrote and created homemade recordings together using a form of software on Pickard’s computer.

However, ‘The Elysian Grandeval’ which is the band’s second album was recorded with Dickie in the same room.

The Infant Annihilators are known for their technical, electric, and extreme musical style which forms the basis for their lyrical content on parody, satires, and shock humor.

Their music videos feature ribald themes. They play the genre known as ‘Deathcore’ and draw influence from technical and brutal death metal.

9. Dickie Allen is Part Of A Movement As His Band Makes Parodistic and Satirical Music.

The Infant Annihilators are known to cover certain controversial topics which border around rape, pedophilia, murder, infanticide, religion, cult, and the Catholic Church.

Their lyrics are mostly filled with content regarded as ‘extreme’.

10. Dickie Allen Brings A New Style To Infant Annihilators

According to an article by Dakota G, who gave a review on the first time he heard Dickie on a material with Infant Annihilators, Dickie performed amazingly well.

Dakota G stated that he was a bit worried when he heard that Dan Watson had left the Infant Annihilators and they had gotten someone else.

However, when he listened to ‘Soil The Stillborn’ which was Dickies first project with the band, he was blown away by the new style the band took.

Dakota G stated that he went in expecting the same insanely fast drums and stunning riffs and the usual slam-like vocal style associated with the band while Dan was with them, however, it wasn’t so.

Dickie blew him and indeed the rest of the Infant Annihilators’ fans away with the way his vocal style flowed over to the new sound.

With Dickies style and groovy sound, he is said to fit more into the Infant Annihilator band and depicts perfectly their theme.
