Cryoshell is a danish rock band formed in 2006 in Copenhagen.In its early years, the band was closely associated with Lego, a toy company. Even after Lego folded in 2010, the band proved their worth and talent.

The Rise Of Cryoshell Band
In 2006, Lego commissioned Mikkel Maltha to produce some materials for their forthcoming game series, Bionicle. To support the production, Maltha brought others to join him in the production.
He wrote Creeping In My soul with Anthony Lledo while other parts of the production had contributions from Edie Simonsen, Soderlund, and Christine Lorentzen.
By the end of 2006, the band’s original lineup was assembled into Cryoshell.

Meet Members Of The Cryoshell Band
Currently, there are three Cryoshell band members. Mikkel Maltha plays the keyboard, Kasper Soderland is the band’s guitarist and Christine Lorentzen is the lead vocal.
Interestingly, its current lineup is the original lineup of the band when it started.
Over the years, other members joined at different times before leaving to pursue other ventures.
Jakob Gundel was their drummer between 2009 and 2011. Tine Midtgaard was the lead vocal when Christine went on maternity leave between 2011 and 2013. Martin Pagaard played drums for the band between 2011 and 2013.
Their Albums And Best Songs
To date, they have one studio album and an EP album to their name. Their debut album, Cryoshell released in 2010 announced their arrival on the rock stage. They produced the album in Scandinavia.
The first single, Bye Bye Babylon came out in June of 2009 and is also the last song to be used by Bionicle.
Their next album, Next To Machines was part of the material for Rebel Nature, a multi-media project. In 2015, an announcement was made by Christian Faber with regards to the selection of Cryoshell to produce material for Rebel Nature.

1. The Cryoshell Band Sang Promotional Material for Lego
Before the band’s first lineup, they sang promotional material for the Lego franchise. Before the band started releasing their songs, they did major promotional work for a toy company to promote their different franchise.

While production of material began as early as 2015, the final album was to be released in 2017.
To finance the album, the band set up a crowdfunding account through Kickstarter. Before the date for the launching of the crowdfunding, the band was able to come up with the needed funds.
5. Its Lead Singer, Christine Was A Former Television Personality
Christine Lorentzen became a television presenter after competing in the game show Scenen er din.
due to criticism, she could not return to the show’s fourth season. She auditioned for the part of the lead vocal for Cryoshell and got picked in 2006.

6. Cryoshell Collaborated With Budapest Orchestra
The band made a remix of Gravity Hurts in collaboration with the Budapest orchestra. It was released in January of 2018.
