Cecily Chapman is the daughter of Beth Smith and Keith A. Barmore but was later adopted by Duane Chapman popularly referred to as ‘Dog’.

Cecily Chapman is dating Matty Smith. Report has it that they have been dating since 2016. Matty Smith is a Brazilian who is based in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He works as a plumber and also schooled at the Honolulu Community College in Hawaii. He studied the Plumbing Apprenticeship/Journey worker program.
Matty had a pretty great relationship with the Chapman family as he was fond of calling Cecily’s mum, Beth, ‘mom’.
The couple has been together for a couple of years now and it seems their love only grows as time passes. They got engaged the Christmas of 2018 and are planning on having a Christmas wedding in 2021.
Cecily openly spoke about her wishes for their big day. She intends on having a Christman Hawaii-inspired wedding and would love to invite as many people as she can.

Cecily Chapman Was Arrested
Cecily Chapman was arrested on the 31st of July 2021 in Honolulu, Hawaii for domestic violence.
It is reported that she became abusive, verbally and physically with her boyfriend turned fiancé, Matty Smith.
The police report stated that she punched her fiancé a couple of times and even bit him. Matty confirmed to the police that Cecily did indeed punch him in the face and bit him as an altercation ensued while the couple drank.
Apparently, this wasn’t the first time Cecily was getting violent with him but he had never reported her before.
In response to the battery claim, Cecily said that it was all in self-defense as ‘a man struck her and said vile things about her mother’.
She also said that anybody who tries to hit her would get a fightback as her mother would have expected.

1. Who Is Her Dad?
Cecily’s parents, Beth and Keith got married in August 1991. However, a little while after the birth of Cecily, in 1993, they got divorced.
Beth later remarried Duane Lee ‘the Bounty Hunter’ Chapman in 2006 and he adopted Cecily as his daughter.
2. She Has A Lot Of Siblings
After her mother’s marriage to Dog and her adoption, Cecily had two younger siblings from this union.
Her younger siblings named Bonnie Joanne a girl and Garry Chapman, a boy were welcomed as new members of the Chapman family.
However, Cecily has 9 step-siblings from Duane’s previous marriages.
3. Chapman Was A Pageant Queen
While in High school, Cecily contested in beauty pageants and was crowned as the pageant queens a lot of times.
She competed in several beauty contests and soon she became really interested in fashion and modeling.
She loves photography and modeling and loves to dress up really well.
4. Cecily Chapman Is A Certified Bail Agent
She has been with her family’s business Da Kine Bail Bonds for the past few years after getting her license as a Bail Agent.

5. Her Mother Died Of Throat Cancer
In September of 2017, Elizabeth Alice Chapman was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer. She began remission but unfortunately, cancer spread to her lungs.
By the 22nd of June 2019, Beth got really ill and was hospitalized. She was placed in a medically induced coma where she later died from complications on the 26th of June.
Her corpse was burnt and the ashes were scattered at sea as shown on the final episode of ‘Dogs Most Wanted’ TV Show.
6. The Reason She Doesn’t Want To Wear Her Mother’s Wedding Dress
Cecily would have loved to wear her mum’s wedding dress for her wedding, however, she changed her mind.
She said she didn’t want to make alterations to the dress because she wanted to leave it as memorabilia of her mom.
Cecily also stated that her altering the dress may prevent her younger sister, Bonnie from being able to wear it for her own big day if she eventually chose to.
She considers her mom’s wedding dress to be so beautiful and like a piece of art that shouldn’t be tampered with.

7. The Call-off Of Her Dream Wedding
As a result of the altercation Cecily had with her fiancé Matty Smith, her dream, Christmas wedding was called off.
Although she stated that their relationship isn’t necessarily over and that they just need some time apart, she did not indicate a new date for the wedding.
To reiterate, the wedding was not postponed to a future date, it was called off and the couple are working on their relationship.
Cecily also stated that she would be leaving Hawaii for a while in other to facilitate the needed time apart from her ex.
8. Cecily And Her Younger Sister Accused Dog Of Neglect And Racism
Dog the Bounty Hunter filed to get access to marry for the 6th time. He has been in a relationship with Francie for a while and the relationship resulted in marriage.
However, Cecily and her younger sister, Bonnie claimed that their father did not invite them to the wedding. The sisters claimed that since the death of their mother, Duane had neglected them.
Cecily cried out about losing everything she had after the passing of her mother including her job and properties. She stated that ‘Dog’ left them out of his life and wouldn’t update them on anything happening in the family.
In a response to the allegations, Duane’s fiancé sent Bonnie a message which insinuated that the reason behind their dad’s behavior was because she was an activist with the Black Lives Matter campaign.
This further infuriated the sisters who called out their dad and accused him of being racist.
9. Cecily Chapman Is An Entrepreneur
31 year old Cecily started off a candle-making business that was inspired by her mother. The candles are called ‘Cecily For Beth’ and they are beautiful-scented candles that have different fragrances.
Cecily advertises her candles on her Instagram and other platforms and she has quite a good number of people who patronize her.
