Ceaser Emanuel was just a young man on the streets of New York before he found fame through his career as a tattoo artist. He then became a famous reality TV star featuring in the Black Ink Crew series for 10 seasons. Unfortunately, he was fired over a crime against animals when a video of him beating his dog surfaced on the internet.
Regardless of that, the 54-year-old graphic designer and tattooist sets to begin the Ceaser Emmanuel Show on I Am Network.
What Exactly Happened to Ceaser Emanuel?
The reality TV star was fired from Black Ink Crew New York after a video of him beating a dog surfaced online.
The tattooist claimed that his being fired was done in haste as his side of the story was not fully heard. In this case, he revealed in an interview that his two dogs were attacking each other and were trying to stop the altercation between the animals.
While at it, one of the dogs turned to him in a violent manner and he was only trying to stop the animal. Unfortunately, he revealed that he was set up by the person (his ex, Suzette Samuel) who released the video.
It was later claimed that the video was old and the incident happened sometime in 2020.
The trained graphic designer was criticized for trying to make an excuse. In fact, his daughter Cheyenne Emanuel claimed that it was not the first time he got physical. She revealed that he had dragged her from the bathroom naked, and beat her up. Ceaser refuted the claim when he added that he only disciplined his child the way his parents would discipline him.
Going further, the reality TV star said that he was not on good terms with Cheyenne and she was only having a hard time accepting that she was no longer his only child.
Whatever the case, he later apologized for the deed (dog beating). He also turned himself in to the police in Georgia over animal cruelty charges.
He Allegedly Went Into Depression After The Incident
Emmanuel received many death threats following the viral video of him abusing animals. This led him to a depression.
As earlier mentioned, he turned himself in and jail records show that the former VH1 star was said to be facing two misdemeanor charges of animal cruelty and one felony charge of aggravated cruelty to animals.
The Dog Abuse is not the only Controversy that Ceaser Emmanuel Has Been involved in
Animal cruelty may have been the most renowned controversy that Emmanuel has been involved in a number of controversies.
In 2018, a client sued him, claiming that her tattoo was infected. She demanded $500,000. If found guilty, the Bronx-born celebrity stood the chance of losing his business.
He had a fight with another Black Ink Crew cast, Alex Robinson. This resulted in industries that in turn led Robinson to sue Emmanuel and his cousin and another Black Ink Crew cast, Teddy Ruks. He demanded $1 million, claiming that the injuries caused severe tissue damage which would stop him from ever tattooing.

Ceaser announced in July 2023 that the Ceaser Emmanuel Show would kick off through the I Am Network.

Also, it was revealed by his cousin that Emmanuel opted for therapy to help him fight his struggles.

He Lost His Father When He was Very Young
Emmanuel was born David Emmanuel, in the Bronx, New York, on June 5, 1979. When he was a child, his father died of AIDS and he was raised by his former Jamaican model mother. His mother was also a businesswoman who owned a salon.
Later on, his mother became married to Kenneth Simpson who raised Emmanuel and his siblings.
The TV star shares a close relationship with his stepfather.
With respect to his education, Ceaser went to the High School of Graphic Communication and Arts in 1999. He later went to Katharine Gibbs College.
Driven by the need to be a good father figure to his daughter who was born while he was still in the streets, he returned to school and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in visual communication, which includes graphic design courses.

He Started His Career Making as a Graphic Designer and Created Tattoo Artwork for People Before Fame
Emmanuel started working as an art director and graphic designer and later started creating artwork for clients in order to create tattoos. In turn, he would learn the art of tattooing from tattoo artists in exchange.
His zeal to tattoo increased over time and this led to his quitting his job as a graphic designer in order to work at a tattoo parlor.
With time, he needed to be bigger in the business, and in 2011, he started the Black Ink Tattoo Studio with a friend. The company started to become famous and branches were soon opened in other parts of the country.
Unfortunately, business was declining and he and his crew were on the verge of being evicted in 2013. Then, VH1 came along to start a TV show. However, the tattoo professional did not initially want to join but was persuaded.
This resulted in an interesting fame. He featured from seasons 1 to 10 until he was fired in 2022 when he was involved in a controversial animal mistreatment.
