Brittany Fortinberry first made news headlines in February 2025 when she was arrested for sexual misconduct with students. She was charged with three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor after a Martinsville grandmother approached the authorities to report that the 31-year-old former teacher sexually attacked her 15-year-old grandson. Fortinberry allegedly molested the teenager multiple times, threatening to kill him if he told anyone.
Investigations revealed that the maths teacher targeted other minors, most of whom she had taught at Eminence High School before she was hired as a substitute teacher for Martinsville Schools. In March 2025, more charges were brought against the former teacher after more victims came forward following the Department of Child Services investigation. Five more children, including a 13-year-old, accused Fortinberry of various sex crimes.
Brittany Fortinberry Is Threatening To Run Away And Change Her Name
On Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, Judge Sara Dungan of the Morgan County Court approved a new trial date for the case. This was after both parties objected to the original date set for June 25th. While a new date hasn’t been determined, a pre-trial conference is scheduled for May 22nd at 1:15 p.m.
At the April 3rd hearing, the court approved a bond increase for Fortinberry, upping it from $20,000 to $150,000 property/surety, alongside $10,000 cash. The prosecuting side asked for a higher bond, arguing that the accused now knows the eight victims who have come forward against her. And that the former teacher has been threatening to run away and change her name while in jail.
Did Brittany Fortinberry Really Have Group Sex With Her Students?
The allegations against the ex-teacher are pretty weighty, but the case hasn’t been tried. She’s facing multiple charges ranging from sexual misconduct with a minor to child molestation, dissemination of matter harmful to minors, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. If she’s convicted, she’ll be spending lots of time behind bars.
The ex-teacher allegedly had a group of teen boys take turns pleasuring her, each for about 15 minutes at her home. She forced those who refused to participate to watch and also sent some of her victims videos of herself engaged in various sexual activities. Court documents claim Brittany Fortinberry solicited genital pictures from students, threatening to commit suicide if anyone reported her.
Was Fortinberry’s Husband Involved In The Alleged Pedophilia?
The allegations against Brittany Fortinberry claim her husband, Nicholas Fortinberry, was aware of her sexual predatory targeting minors. According to court documents cited in a TMZ report, the parents of one of Brittany’s victims informed the cops that Nicholas knew about his wife’s pedophilia. But instead of doing something about it, he threatened the kid.
“If you don’t stop what you’re doing with my wife, then I’m going to kill you in front of your family,” he said to the 13-year-old boy, adding: “do not continue to do what you’re doing with my wife until you turn 16.”
After the victim’s parents spoke to the cops about Nicholas, he went to the court the next day and filed for a divorce. The couple wed in November 2020 and had been married for over four years. He’s asking for temporary custody of their four-year-old child, alongside temporary possession of their home.
If Nicholas filed for divorce to stay out of legal trouble, then he must have been disappointed when he was charged with intimidation and failure to report. He was released on a $600 bond, pending his trial. Check out if Sexxy Red is truly a CIA agent.
