The Third Day band is a Christian band formed in the 90s by some high school students in Marieta, Georgia. It was formed by three members but over the course of the years, others joined while others left.

The idea of a name for the band was not hard, they decided to use Third Day which is symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus on the third day.
