Years after the first conceived the idea of creating a band and with successful songs, the Third Day disbanded. Yet, the band remains alive in the songs they made and the lives they impacted.
Gomers are fans of the band and they derive the name from the name of Hosea’s wife in the Bible. Gomers and other followers will love to know all their albums and their top songs. All these and many interesting details about members of the band will be revealed.
Who Are The Members Of The Third Day?
The Third Day band is a Christian band formed in the 90s by some high school students in Marieta, Georgia. It was formed by three members but over the course of the years, others joined while others left.
The idea of a name for the band was not hard, they decided to use Third Day which is symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus on the third day. At first, they thought the name will be used for a short while before choosing another one. It was not the case as they used the name for all the years they sang as a band.
There is a uniqueness to their songs composed of rock. They were influenced by bands like Lynryd Skynyrd and flavors of U2 and various other groups.
The band celebrated its 25 years anniversary in 2017 with the release of Revival. In March 2018, they announced their disbandment with a farewell tour. The band was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 19, 2009.
