The group became famous worldwide after winning the Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden with their song Waterloo in April 1974. This was the first song on their second album, also called Waterloo. After this, they had many big hits like SOS, Mama Mia, Dancing Queen, Fernando, and Knowing Me, Knowing You in the UK, Australia, and the US.
