2. She made her first foray into music in 1985
Suze’s journey into this amazing world began in 1985 when she was signed by the EMI record label where she released a few singles such as Big Wednesday, Young Hearts, etc. Not quite happy with the direction the record label was steering her career, she called it quits and return back to her country, Australia.
At the time, she and a few other musicians got together and formed a band called Photoplay, and she revealed in a recent interview that she learned all she knew about being in a band from Photoplay.
Between 1996 and 2007, she had an amazing 11 years solo career in which she released several singles, collaborated with other musicians, and even served as lead singer for the group INXS. She enjoyed very good reception of her music and was a commercial success in this period.
3. What she did before becoming a professional musician
Many artists have to start off with a career quite different from their original passion, and Suze was no different. When she finished school at about 16, she got a job with Rural and Industries Bank as a Teller. She hated the job so much that she quit. Her next job was at a Dress House, which she again revealed that she hated with a passion; she was always wishing customers would not come in, preferring to hide behind the counter.

As she has stated in several interviews before, she really loves playing in a band. So after leaving EMI, she went back to Australia and teamed up with some other musicians like Eddie Parise, Frank Celenza and others, to form a band they called Baby Animals. The group was a commercial success in Australia, collecting a few awards after releasing 2 albums and several singles. Sadly due to some unresolved issues the band was disbanded in 1996.
5. Suze DeMarchi suffered health issues and scare

When Suze decided to move back to Australia (for a few reasons) with her family, the plan was that she would move first with their children with the hubby joining later, but instead, she got a mail from her husband that the marriage was over. She stated in an interview that their marriage was never blissful, but she stuck around in an attempt to make things work. The couple was officially divorced in 2013.
