British actress Angela Lansbury had two biological children: Diedre Angela Shaw and Anthony Shaw with her second husband, Peter Shaw. Nevertheless, the Award-winning actress also raised her husband’s son David Shaw after they married in 1949.
On 11 October 2022, her family announced she died in her sleep at her home in California. The famous actress was survived by her brother Edgar, her children, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

1. Diedre Angela Shaw
Angela Lansbury’s only daughter, Diedre was born in April 1953. As a teenager, Diedre was always hanging out with Charles Manson’s followers while her brother was heavily involved with drugs. In other to help her and her brother, Lansbury moved them to County Cork in Ireland.
It is worthy of note that Angela Lansbury, took a hiatus in her career until her children recovered. Together with her husband Peter, the famed actress got a doctor who then prescribed methadone to Diedre and Anthony to help them with the withdrawal symptoms.

Anthony Pullen is the first child Angela Lansbury and Peter Shaw had during their marriage. He was born on January 7, 1952. He is currently 72 years old.
As already stated above, Anthony did drugs as a teenager but thankfully, his parents made the best decision which helped him become clean. Career-wise, the father of three has taken after his parents. He has appeared in several television shows and movies. He even co-starred with his mother in the Broadway play, A little Family Business at the Martin Beck Theater in 1982.

Just like his father, David Shaw has also worked in entertainment as a producer and production manager. He worked on the movie Murder, She Wrote, and The Unexpected Mrs. Pollofax alongside his stepmom, Angela.

Angela Lansbury’s father was a wealthy English timber merchant and politician, Edgar Lansbury. He was a member of the Communist Party of Great Britain and also a former mayor of the Metropolitan Borough of Poplar. His father, George Lansbury was also a famous politician and anti-war activist.
In 1935, the father of the actress died of stomach cancer which was just a year after he published a biography of his father.
Moyna Macgill (Mother)
Edgar Lansbury married Moyna Macgill following the death of his first wife, Minnie Lansbury. Angela Lansbury was their first child followed by her twin brothers Bruce and Edgar Jr.
Moyna Macgill was also an actress. She was known as one of the greatest film actors in Ireland. However, she switched to presenting dramatic readings at private schools when she could not secure a working visa after she moved to New York.

Bruce Lansbury (Brother)
The British-American television producer and screenwriter, Bruce Lansbury was the younger brother of the actress and the twin brother of film and television producer Edgar Lansbury.
Bruce was famous as the producer of 69 episodes of The Wild Wild West (1966-1969) and 38 episodes of Mission: Impossible (1969-1972). Some of his notable works include Murder, She Wrote, and Knight Rider.
