Unfortunately, their marriage faced challenges, and they eventually divorced on February 4, 1985, after three years of being together. The reasons behind their divorce have not been publicly disclosed, however, the pair maintained some level of friendship for the sake of their two children, Freeda Foreman and George Foreman III.
As you would find, Andre wasn’t the first woman in Foreman’s life. The heavyweight champion was first married to Adrienne Calhoun in 1971 but divorced in 1974 after spending three years as a couple and the birth of a daughter Michi Foreman. Freeda Foreman was born in Texas, USA on October 16, 1976. As a child, she grew up watching her dad train and soon developed a passion for the sport. In 2000 at the age of 24, she followed in her father’s footsteps and pursued a career in boxing. She made her debut as a middleweight achieving a record of 5-1.
Freeda retired after losing her 6th professional bout and remained in the sports industry as a boxing promoter for a few years. Aside from sports, she became involved in criminal justice and took a few classes as she aspired to make positive differences in the American Criminal Justice System.
Tragically, Freeda Foreman passed away in 2019 at the age of 42. She was found dead in her home of what may have been suicide. She is survived by her husband and child.
George Forman III
George Foreman III is the second son of George Foreman. He was born on January 23, 1983, and he’s 41 years old. Like his sister, he also took after his father’s career path. Under the name Monk, he made his professional debut in 2009 and established a successful boxing career, earning a 16-0 record with 15 knockout victories and a unanimous decision.
Later, he switched to business and opened a boxing fitness gym in Boston known as “The Club by George Foreman III” but he later changed it to ‘Everybody Fights’.
