As the story goes, her husband who previously pursued a career in sports soon resigned and joined the fire service team as a firefighter. Unfortunately, he met his end while on duty with other firefighters on September 11, 2001. From the reports, terrorists attacked that fateful day and claimed the lives of many people in the United States, while some were left with major injuries.
Following the news of his death, Amy and other family members were left heartbroken. Nonetheless, they soon moved on with their lives and Pete’s mother committed her life to raising her kids. She has maintained a single life since then and has not been linked to anyone.
