Born María Guadalupe Araujo on December 10, 1955, in Mexico, Ana Gabriel was a talented person since she was a child and it was clear that music was her calling.
The first time she took to the stage was at the age of six when she made a performance of José Alfredo Jiménez’s Regalo A Dios.
However, it was until 1977 when she was 21 that she began her career fully with the release of her first song, Compréndeme. Soon afterward as the years progressed, she came to be known for the two aforementioned genres as well as Mariachi.
