Tom Welling, the famous American actor, director, producer, podcaster, and model, has been arrested, according to reports.
The actor was recently arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.
The 47-year-old Smallville alum was reportedly arrested in an Arby’s parking lot in Yreka, California, shortly after midnight on Monday, January 27, according to TMZ, the first to report the news.
Reports suggest that Welling’s blood alcohol level was at or above 0.08 percent, well over the legal limit.
No additional details about Welling’s alleged DUI have been released, and the actor has not yet commented publicly on the incident.
Prior to his reported arrest, Welling spoke fondly about his life on a ranch in Northern California and praised his wife, Jessica Rose Lee, who celebrated her birthday on Sunday, January 26.
Writing via his Instagram over the weekend, Tom Welling said: “Happy Birthday to our Angel who makes our dreams come true and inspires us even more! We love you to the moon and back! @jessicarosewelling #happybirthday #love.”
The Cheaper by the Dozen actor celebrated the occasion by sharing several photos of his wife, including a snapshot of the couple horseback riding.
A week earlier, Welling offered fans a glimpse into life on the couple’s ranch. “Grateful #RanchLife two mamas and an OLYMPIA #love,” he captioned a selfie featuring three of his horses with a mountain range in the background.
Lee, a passionate horse lover and equestrian, shared in November 2024 that it had been four years since the couple purchased their ranch.
Welling and Lee got engaged in February 2018 after four years of dating. In October, Lee announced that she was six months pregnant with their first child.
“We are over the moon, filled with joy, love, and so excited,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in November 2018. Their son, Thomson Wylde, was born in January 2019.
Tom Welling married Lee in November 2019 during a romantic ceremony at Sunstone Vineyards & Winery in San Ynez, California. (Welling was previously married to model Jamie White, whom he divorced in 2013 after a decade of marriage.)
The couple welcomed their second son, Rocklin Von, in June 2021, expanding their family once more.
Celebrating a decade together, Lee reflected on their journey via Instagram in November 2023. “Ten years together, four as one. Forever the luckiest, this lifetime of love. ♥️,” she captioned a photo from their wedding day.
