When the late American actor Paul Walker was younger and before he made it big as an actor, he had a love life with Rebecca Soteros (also known as Rebecca Mcbrain). The two had a daughter, Meadow Walker who was born in 1998. Even though Rebecca has led most of her life in private and Paul Walker was dating Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell at the time of his death, her name is still heard as a woman who bore his only child.
On her own, Rebecca, 50, is a former servicewoman and a teacher while her ex, Walker was famed for his roles in Fast and Furious and Brick Mansions (2014).
She Attended the Same School with Walker
Soteros and Paul Walker were raised mainly in California and it was there that they attended Village Christian School school in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, California. They later started a relationship and became known among family and friends.
Soteros became to Walker’s family what Cheryl (Walker’s mother) described as a big part of their family. Cheryl also thought that Paul and Soteros were very close and would never be apart – unfortunately, that was not the case.
Whatever the case and looking back at Rebecca Soteros’ life, she was born on November 14, 1974, to a businessman father, Mark Soteros, and a stay-at-home mother Julie Anne. She has a younger brother Joshua Soteros.
Growing older, Soteros went to the University of California while Walker went to different colleges in Southern California, majoring in marine biology.
Rebecca Soteros and Paul Walker Had Their Model Daughter, Meadow in 1998
Paul Walker and his childhood lover became parents to their daughter Meadow Rain Walker on November 4, 1998. Meadow is now 26 years old, a model and actress.
At the time the former couple was expecting Meadow, Walker was 21 years old while Rebecca was 20 years old.
When Meadow was born, it was the same year that Walker featured in a film – Meet the Deedles. His role in the film contributed to securing him a role in Pleasantville the same year.
According to Walker’s mother in the documentary I Am Paul Walker about Walker’s life, he was scared of being a father at the time. However, she advised him to marry Rebecca since they were in love and would never be apart. This however did not turn out to be the case.
On the other hand, Soteros led a quiet life.
She Raised Meadow Until about Two Years Before Paul’s Death
Meadow lived with her mother in Hawaii during her formative years. She only moved in with her famous father in 2011 when she was 13 years old and about two years before the death of Paul.
At the time, Walker was dating Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell whom he started dating when she was 16 years old.
Meadow and her father shared a very close relationship. The father and daughter were together at home preparing what Christmas tree to buy shortly before Walker’s accident that claimed his life on November 30, 2013, at the age of 40.

Where is Rebecca Soteros Today?
Meadow Walker’s mother is currently a teacher in Hawaii. She is 50 years old and began her teaching career following her graduation from college.
Regardless of this, Paul Walker’s baby mama lives a private life despite her daughter’s life as a model and an actress and despite being known as the only woman the Fast and Furious actor ever had a child with.
She is believed to be married as she has adopted Mcbrain as her last name.
Away from these, Rebecca Soteros has been met with different challenges. It is revealed that she has suffered from a major alcohol problem which became a major reason why Meadow moved in with Walker in 2011.
According to TMZ, she was first arrested for DUI in 2003 in Orange County and was sentenced to a 3-year probation.
Again, in 2013, the same year her ex-lover, Walker died, she was arrested in Hawaii where she was residing. The arrest was also for DUI.
It has been revealed that Sotero’s drinking problems were why Paul wrote his mother as the sole guardian of Meadow. Following his death, Rebecca agreed to go to rehab to gain custody of her daughter.
Interestingly, Paul’s mother also vowed to give up the court battle for Meadow’s custody if Rebecca goes to rehab.
Well, Meadow is now 26 years old, and as an adult, she does not have to deal with any legal guardian – whether her mother or paternal grandmother.
