The news that made waves was that Rudy Farias had been missing since he left home in Texas, one day in March 2015. However, recent revelations prove that to be untrue and even the neighbors of the Farias never knew about this story.
For a not-so-great 8 years, Rudy had been kept against his will, in fear, and hidden by his mother. ‘Why?’ you ask. Well, Janie Santana, Rudy’s mother, kept her son locked up in their house and used him as a s*x slave all along.

Rudy Farias Only Went Missing For 2 Days and Not 8 Years
Admittedly, Rudy ‘Rudolph’ Farias went missing in the early days of March 2017 while walking his 2 dogs.
A police report filed by his mother stated that he was suffering from anxiety, depression, PTSD, and even asthma and wasn’t out with his inhaler and medication. The 2 dogs the then 17-year-old boy was walking were eventually found but Rudy remained missing.
During that period, it was speculated that the young man was probably abducted by human traffickers.
8 years and 3 months later, a young 25-year-old man was found lying unconscious in front of a church in Houston Texas. He was discovered on June 29, 2023, by a Good Samaritan, and his family members were reached out to. Rudy was immediately taken to the hospital where he began receiving medical attention and care.
According to his mother, Janie Santana, he was in shock and unable to talk. She also asked for privacy during this period to enable her son to heal completely.
Rudy’s mother revealed that her son was found with bruises on his body, perhaps from his abuser. He was also unable to talk so much and would only say a few words before shutting down again.
Rudy ‘Rudolph’ Farias Has Been Home with His Mother Living a Life as ‘Dolph’
While the Houston Police Department, Rudy’s relatives, and other concerned citizens believed Rudy was still missing, he had actually returned. The boy was only missing for 2 days and he returned home after the second day.
Rudy revealed that he initially wanted to run away from home. He however had a change of mind and went back home after being away for just 2 days.
Upon his return, Janie Sanatana told him that he was in trouble. She insisted that running away was a crime and that the Houston Police and other agencies were looking for him to arrest.
The 17-year-old was truly scared and agreed to do the bidding of his mother. His mother advised him to remain indoors and hidden. He wasn’t allowed to go out and he didn’t even want to for fear of being arrested.
For 8 whole years, Rudy lived at the mercy of his mother who dictated how his life could go.
One time in 2018, a family member called the police because she spotted the young boy behind his mother’s house. When the police arrived and searched, they found no trace of him and nothing suspicious. However recent reports have uncovered that he was actually living there and he even called his grandmother from time to time to find out how she fared.
The neighbors of Rudy and his mother testified that they never knew he was missing. According to those who gave their reports, Rudy had been living and walking freely amongst them.
They revealed that they all knew him as Dolph and he would even hang with the kids of their close neighbor in their garage. The neighbors claimed that he wasn’t much of a talker and would only talk about how he badly wanted to get away from his mother and the death of his brother.
Rudy lost his brother in 2011 to a motorcycle accident. The incident left him sad and traumatized for so long. Sometimes if he wasn’t hanging with the neighbors, Rudy would sit by the woods thinking about his brother whom he watched have the accident that took his life.
The supposed missing boy also went to work with his mother. They would leave the house at about 6 pm and return the next morning. He occasionally went to the park by himself as well.
When Rudy was able to talk about how he maintained his missing-person status despite living quasi-freely, he said his mother allowed him. Janie figured that he had changed considerably over the years and that no one would recognize him. She also had him start using the name ‘Dolph’ instead of Rudy.

His Mother Has Been Using Him as a S*x Slave
Janie Santana kept her son locked and mostly hidden while she exploited him for s*x. While in her custody and away from the rest of the world, Rudy Farias was made to sleep in his mother’s bed and ‘play daddy’ with her.
He was forced to be her husband since she lost his father Rudolph Farias III. Rudy’s father left his mother and married another woman and eventually committed suicide in 2014. He died at the age of 51 while under investigation for criminal charges.
There are speculations that Rudy’s parents were actually never married.
Janie Santana kept her son to herself and did with him whatever she wanted. She would lie down n*ked with him and t*ngue-k*ss him after drugging him with hallucinogens.
Rudolph Farias IV was only able to come clean about what he went through while talking to activist Quanell X. Whenever his mother was around during the conversation, he got agitated and wouldn’t be able to say anything. However, he was comfortable enough to expose all that he passed through in the hands of his mother with her absence from the room.
Quanell X reported that Rudy Farias would require a lot of therapy to heal him from the drugs he was exposed to as well as the abuse he lived through.
Rudy was tired of living like a slave and having his mother not respect his boundaries. He eventually stole his mother’s credit card and ran away shortly before he was found unconscious.
When reporters spoke to Janie’s neighbors, they revealed that she offered to pay them to be quiet. However, a few of them insisted that they wouldn’t lie about what they knew.
Following all the revelations, Janie Santana later claimed that the police wanted to arrest her.
