June Wilkinson was born on 27 March 1940 in Eastbourne, England. The second world war started in 1939, only a year before her birth.
She once told a tale of how bombs were coming down from Germany and in fact, her home was just next to a bombed site. Well, the war ended when she was about 5 years old in 1945.
In another aspect of her life, The Private Lives of Adam and Eve actress grew up in a low-income earning family and could not afford some of life’s basics. In fact, she was about 12 years old when she was fascinated with dancing but could not attend the dancing school that was right next to her family’s house.

June fast became one of the best dancers in the dancing school she was attending and that marked the beginning of her career in the path. At 15, she became a topless dancer at the Windmill Theater in London.
Shortly before she turned 16, she quit and was soon invited to America by producer Maurice Duke.
In the United States, she performed on stage, and at that point, she was discovered by Hugh Hefner and took a job as a Playmate. According to Wikipedia, she became one of the most photographed women of the late 1950s to 1960s.
Even when she left Playboy in 1962, her pictures continued to appear in magazines.

In 1973 at the age of 33, Wilkinson became married to Dan Pastorini, a former professional American football player who played for Houston Oilers (1971–1979), Oakland Raiders (1980), Los Angeles Rams (1981), and Philadelphia Eagles (1982–1983).
Before marriage, the former couple met in 1972 on the set of The Rage. Moving to the marriage, they appeared in Florida Connection (also known as Weed) film in 1974. Ruefully, the former couple divorced in 1982.
Before then, they had a daughter Brahna Pastorini. She is a tennis player and also teaches the sport. She started playing tennis at a young age and continued even while attending Taft High in Woodland Hills.
Brahna had a somewhat not smooth relationship with her father. Based on some reports, she had her first telephone conversation with him when she was 7 and the next one came after 3 years.
