Tina Turner’s children are Craig Raymond Turner, Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Renelle Turner, Ike Turner Jr. and Michael Turner. Of all the singer’s four children, only two Craig and Ronald were her biological children. She had Craig with her then-boyfriend, Raymond Hill at the age of 18 while she shared Ronald with her ex-husband, Ike whom she was married to from 1962 to 1978.
Sadly, Tina Turner’s oldest son Craig died by suicide in 2018 at the age of 59. Also, her youngest son, Ronald died of complications from colon cancer in December 2022 barely six months later, Tina Turner also died on May 24, 2023, at her home in Küsnacht, Switzerland at the age of 83. In recent years, the Swiss singer suffered a stroke and kidney disease.

1. Craig Raymond Turner
Tina Turner’s oldest child was born Craig Raymond Hill in 1958 during her relationship with Kings of Rhythm saxophonist, Raymond Hill. Craig was later adopted by Tina’s first husband, Ike Turner Sr. and he changed his name to Craig Raymond Turner.
Craig spent most of his life working as a realtor in Beverly Hills and stayed away from the spotlight.
Sadly, he died by suicide in 2018 at the age of 59. Following his death, his mother revealed it was her saddest moment as a mother. The Musical icon also added that Craig was lonely when he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his home in California.

2. Ronald Ronnie Turner
In 1960, Tina Turner welcomed her second son Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Renelle with her ex-husband, Ike. She was married to the latter from 1962 to 1978.
Ronnie as he was also known, took after his parents, whose relationship and marriage were fraught with tales of domestic abuse, as he pursued a career in showbiz as well. He acted alongside his mother in the 1993 film What’s Love Got to Do with It. He also performed with his parents from time to time.
In 2007, he married French musician, Afida Turner.
In December 2022, Ronnie died at the age of 62 due to complications from late-stage colon cancer and cardiovascular disease. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s office, the primary cause of Ronnie’s death was cancer which was spreading to other organs in his body.
Prior to his death, Tina Turner’s youngest son, Ronnie had difficulty breathing while on the sidewalk outside his home. Upon the arrival of paramedics, he was declared dead.
3. Ike Turner Jr.
Ike Turner Jr. is one of the two children adopted by Tina, out of Ike Turner’s six children. Ike Jr. was born from his father’s long-term relationship with Lorraine Taylor.
Ike Turner Jr. followed in his parents’ footsteps as well. He started working in the music entertainment industry at the age of 13.
For producing his father’s album Risin With The Blues, Ike won a Grammy in 2006. He later toured with one of his father’s old bandmates, Randi Love, and in 2018, they released a single, Freaky under the name Sweet Randi Love & Love Thang Band.
According to Dailymail, Ike Jr. was estranged from his birth mother for more than two decades. He also claimed that although he was raised by Tina since the age of 2, she also abandoned him around 2000.
Ike Jr. claimed Tina Turner abandoned him and his brothers after she married Erwin Bach and moved to Europe with her new husband -whom she dated for about 27 years before marrying in 2013.
4. Michael Turner
Michael Turner was born in 1959 from Ike Turner Sr.’s relationship with Lorraine. He was later adopted by Tina. Of all Tina Turner’s 4 children, only Michael did not go into showbiz.
Reports have it that Michael has been distant from his mother. In a DailyMail article, Ike Jr. revealed that Michael was in a convalescent home in Southern California and needed medical support. He also added that although their mother never visited his brother, she sent him money all the time. Their father Ike Turner Sr. died on December 12, 2007, at the age of 76.
