Sebastiano Derek Stevenson is the son of Ireland-born British actor, Ray Stevenson. He was born from his father’s last known romantic relationship with Elisabetta Caraccia.
Though still young, Sebastiano is the older brother to at least 2 other children born by his mother, an Irish anthropologist.
Derek Stevenson was only 16 years old when his father passed away at the age of 58.
Sebastiano Derek Stevenson is Ray Stevenson’s First Child
Ray Stevenson’s son was born on December 24, 2007, from his relationship with anthropologist, Elisabetta Caraccia. The relationship between Sebastiano’s parents started when the actor was filming the series Rome (2005-2007). At the end of the filming, the couple welcomed their first child together.
Sebastiano is the King Arthur actor’s first child.
Born in 1975 in Italy, the mother of Ray Stevenson’s first son is a well-known anthropologist. She and the British actor were together for almost 18 years before the actor’s death in 2023.
The couple ventured into business together when they bought Boutique Hostal Salinas. Boutique Hostal Salinas crashed in 2021 due to the pandemic but a year later, Derek Stevenson’s parents revived the place together.

16-year-old Sebastiano Derek Stevenson is the known oldest of 3 siblings. His immediate younger brother is Leonardo George Stevenson who was born in 2011.
Sebastiano’s other brother’s existence is something that is still under debate. Most sources claim that his parents had just 2 children while others say there is another child.
According to geniuscelebs.com, the name of the third son is Ludovico Stevenson. This same source states speculations that Ludovico may not have been born from Elisabetta and Ray’s relationship.

Sebastiano Derek Stevenson’s Father was Married Before
George Ray Stevenson was previously married in the late 90s before his relationship with the mother of his kids. The Thor actor was married to a fellow English actress known as Ruth Gemmell.
Ray and Ruth met on the set of the 1995 movie Band of Gold. 2 years later, they were cast as husband and wife in the movie Peak Practice.
It was in the same 1997 that they got married in London. 8 years later (2005), their marriage ended in a divorce and both parties parted ways.
In the same 2005, Sebastiano’s parents, Elisabetta and Ray Stevenson met. Soon after meeting, they started a relationship and this blossomed into their 18 years of togetherness.
The relationship between Derek’s parents has also been a constant source of confusion for people. While most sources including bios of the couple suggest that they were never married, an interview by Sascha Plecic for Ibiza Style Magazine called the British actor the husband of the Irish anthropologist.
Whatever the case may be, it doesn’t take away the fact that their relationship lasted for almost 2 decades.
But for the death of the RRR actor a few days before his 59th birthday, the couple would have celebrated their 18th anniversary together in October 2023.
As already stated, Sebastiano’s father, George Raymond Stevenson died on May 21, 2023. He died on set while filming the movie Cassino in Italy.
