Marissa Ribisi was married to American singer, songwriter, and record producer, Beck Hansen, for about 15 years. She is an actress known for being in movies and series such as Dazed and Confused, Encino, and Friends.
Upon their divorce finalization 2 years after its filing, in 2021, they got to share their properties. Additionally, Marissa and Beck both got joint custody of their 2 children, Cosimo and Tuesday Hansen.
Marissa Ribisi Got Married to Beck Hansen on April 4, 2004
On April 4, 2004, Marissa Ribisi got married to the ‘Loser’ singer, Beck Hansen outside Santa Barbara. The couple had a small intimate wedding in the presence of their family and close friends.
It isn’t certain yet when the couple met and began dating but it’s most likely after he broke up with designer Leigh Limon. Prior to his marriage to Ribisi, Beck dated Leigh Limon for about 9 years before calling it quits in the year 2000.
Marissa Ribisi had also retired from acting in 2000 and was establishing herself as a fashion designer.
The marriage ceremony between Marissa and Beck took place at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif. This venue also saw the wedding of actress Gwyneth Paltrow to Chris Martin.
At the time of the marriage, Ribisi was already pregnant and due to give birth in a few months. It was the first marriage for both the Friends actress and the 8-time Grammy Award singer.
Their Divorce Process Began a Day After Valentine’s Day of 2019
A month and a few days short of Ribisi and Hansen’s 15th year anniversary, news hit the media that the ‘Morning Phase’ singer had filed for divorce.
Beck filed for a divorce from his wife on February 15, 2019, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’. Though reports carry that the divorce was initiated in 2019, it seems like the couple separated in 2017.
According to Beck, their marriage ended in June 2017 but Marissa states that it happened in February of 2019.
Beck and his ex-wife’s divorce proceedings tarried for about 2 years and were finalized on September 2, 2021.
The final proclamation of the divorce includes the couple sharing custody of their kids. They also got to share properties between themselves and the record producer was made to pay certain amounts in spousal and child supports.
With the divorce out of the way, the American songwriter clarified some details about his religion. Beck’s father and wife are Scientologists and many thought he was of the same belief as well.
He however cleared the air about it stating that he has only been focused on his music and wasn’t a Scientologist.
Marissa and her Ex-husband’s Divorce Settlement
The couple signed a prenuptial agreement and so upon the divorce, developed a sharing formula for their properties. For starters, Ribisi and Hansen got joint custody of their children.
Moving on, Beck got to keep 10 properties spread across California, Tennessee, and Arkansas. He also got to keep gold coins, 2 dozen pieces of art which included 4 original Banksys and also kept a 2013 Mercedes-Benz.
Ribisi, on the other hand, was given 1 property in California, 5 Banksy pieces, an Andy Warhol original titled ‘Sam Sam’, and a 2014 Honda Odyssey.
In addition to the aforementioned properties given to Marissa, she was also going to receive $18, 169 per month as spousal support.
Bek David Campbell also known as Beck Hansen was also to pay her 13% of his income for any gross money of $1.74 million but less than $3 million.
The twin sister of fellow actor, Giovanni Ribisi, will also be paid $14, 531 monthly as child support. Additionally, 9% of everything over his income was to be paid to Marissa.
The spousal support Beck was to pay to his ex-wife also included a $500,000 equalization payment. This was for other property issues at the rate of 421,000 monthly till the completion of payment.

Beck Hansen’s ex-wife is the mother of his 2 children. Just as they have been each other’s first and only marriages so far, the 2 children they have together remain their only children individually.
The 50-year-old On the Verge actress is the mother of Cosimo Hansen whom she was pregnant before she got married to the Rock star. Cosi was born on July 5, 2004, 2 months after his parent’s wedding.
He is the founder and CEO of Future Ruins, a clothing brand that was created in Los Angeles.
3 years after the birth of their son, the couple welcomed another child, a daughter named Tuesday Hansen. She was born on May 23, 2007.
