Clayton Peterson is an electrical, digital, and printed circuit board engineer who is famed as the oldest child of Micheal Peterson. He is married to Rebecca “Becky” Peterson and they share two children – Lucian Peterson and Dorian Peterson.
Clayton became a public interest after his father got arrested for the murder of his second wife, Kathleen Peterson. He was one of the people who believed his father was innocent and supported him throughout the murder trial. A Brief Biography of Clayton Peterson
Clayton Peterson is the oldest son of Micheal Peterson from his first marriage to Patricia “Patty” Sue. At the moment, his exact date of birth isn’t known but we confirmed that he was born in the year 1975. This means that he’s 49 years old at the moment.
While not so much is known about his early life, we garnered that his parents got divorced in 1985 when he was only 10 years old. According to sources, Clayton spent his childhood with his mother in West Germany alongside his brother, Todd Peterson. The brothers later joined his father in Durham, North Carolina.
His mother was an elementary teacher at the Rhein-Main Air Base In Gräfenhausen, Germany while his father was a former military veteran who later became a columnist for a local newspaper. At the moment Micheal is well known as an author of several books including; The Immortal Dragon, A Time of War, Charlie Two Shoes, and The Marines of Love Company.
As for his education, he completed high school in West Germany and later proceeded to Duke University. Unfortunately, he never graduated following his arrest while in school.
Clayton was Arrested and Jailed for 4 Years
Even though Clayton’s father is most known for his issues with the law, it’s only known by a few people that Clayton also had a history with the law. As the story goes, the then 19 years old was arrested for attempting to firebomb the Duke University Administrative Building in 1994 during his spring break in college.
Clayton had misplaced his fake school ID and in a bid to replace it, he devised a means of stealing $1700 worth of equipment for a new ID. His plan was to distract officials from the theft but he was caught.
Following his arrest, he reportedly claimed that the pipe bomb would have never exploded, investigations proved otherwise. Also, several assembled explosive devices hidden in the attic were later discovered in his house. Consequently, Clayton was sentenced to 4 years at the federal penitentiary in 1995 at the age of 20.

What Does Micheal Peterson’s Son Do for a Living?
After Clayton’s release from prison, he went under the radar for a while and later settled for a normal life. However, he started making appearances on the award-winning documentary “The Staircase” in support of his father’s innocence following his arrest and murder trial of his second wife, Kathleen Peterson.
While the Peterson family is still captured in the documentary, Clayton currently pursues a more professional career as an engineer majoring in electrical, digital, and Printed Circuit Broad (PCB). He has always had a knack for engineering since his teenage years and it’s only fulfilling to finally get to do it after dropping out of school.

Clayton is focused on building his family in Baltimore, Maryland. He is married to Rebecca “Becky” Peterson. However, information on how and when the pair met is not known to the public. It is also difficult to assert when they got married.
