Helen Grace De Niro was born on December 23, 2011, to De Niro and his then-wife, Grace Hightower via a surrogate. The couple who were 68 years old and 56 years old(Hightower) opted to have their child through this method due to the risk involved with a pregnancy at this age.

As it is, it was confirmed by his co-star, Kim Cattrall that Chen is indeed the mother of the baby while congratulating them on their new child.
