Annie Wersching’s Father, Frank Wersching Jr. Died in 1979
Not much is known about the early life of Annie Wersching’s father, Frank Wersching. However, there are sources that trace his educational attendance to Southeast University Missouri where he met Annie’s mother, Sandra Wersching.
Some sources claim he worked as a theatre director at the opera studios and at the Performing Arts Area of Washington University. His work includes the St. Louis premiers of Marat/Sade and Commedia dell ‘ Arte troupe which he directed at Washington University.
Sadly, Wershing Jr. did not live long to see his daughter grow and become the successful actress that she is known for. He died in 1979 when Annie was only two years old.

Annie Wershing’s mother, Sandra Wershing was born to Albert and Frieda Drebes in 1944. Other details about her early life and childhood are sketchy.
Regarding her education, Sandy as many refer to her attended Lindberg Senior High school. She proceeded to Southeast Missouri State University where she graduated in 1965.
Sandra launched a career as a florist. She ran Surprise! Flowers & Gifts, a gift shop that she and her husband started in 1970. The shop was first located in Euclid Avenue but was moved to Shaw and lastly, Tower Grove neighborhoods.
After spending 37 years running the shop, Sandy retired in 2007. While at the time the reason for her retirement was not well known, Annie revealed that her mother had a good relationship with her clients and through this, she was able to make flowers for these clients and their children’s weddings later on.
It is not surprising, that Sandy rose to become one of the most well-known florists in the area. In 2007, she retired from running the business after 37 years.
Despite retiring from running her gift shop, Sandy continued supporting her daughter Annie. The pair even made appearances together, including on The Bonnie Hunt Show.
Sadly, she passed away in 2011 at the age of 67 due to a diabetic-related ailment.
Annie Wersching Was Married to Stephen Full for 14 Years
He was born on November 13, 1969, in Chicago Illinois. While details about his early life are elusive, you would easily find that the 55-year-old is an actor and comedian who launched his career in 1991.
Since then, he has appeared in film and television as well as voiced on Disney Channel’s Dog with a Blog. His other notable works include; I’m in the Band, CSI: NY, and Best Friends Whenever.
Away from his career, it is unclear how he and Annie met. However, since they are both in the entertainment industry, it is likely that they may have crossed paths in the course of their work. Full and Wersching got married in September 2009 at their home in Los Angeles.

Born on August 4, 2013, he is Annie Wersching’s second child. The 11-year-old is mostly seen in social media updates of his mother alongside his other siblings. Through these updates, it is gathered that he may also have a talent for entertainment.
In a December 2022 Facebook post shared by his mother, Ozzie is seen playing the ukulele musical instrument. He showed his skill on the guitar-looking musical instrument when he covered Bruno Mars‘s song Count on Me.
Archie Wersching
He is the youngest child of the late actress. He was born on Nov 25, 2018, during the shooting of the second season of Marvel’s Runaways.
At the time, her pregnancy bump was used in the production of the second season of the series. By the time the third season started, she had given birth to Archie and as a result, she started using a fake bump to continue shooting.

Annie Wersching Died at the Age of 45
The Vampire Diaries actress died on 29 January 2023 of cancer at the age of 45. Reportedly, she was diagnosed with the ailment in 2020.
Regardless of her diagnosis, she chose to live life to the fullest by pursuing her career and being there for her family members, especially her children. It’s no wonder that Wersching continued taking movie roles or appeared in series that she was already a recurring cast member. These include her recurring role in Bosche. She started appearing in the series in 2014 when the show came on the air.
Other appearances she made since her cancer diagnosis are; Star Trek: Picard, The Rookie, and Marvel’s Runaways.
Following the news of her death, it became clear that her commitment to members of her family did not go unnoticed. While reacting to her death, her husband stated that
