Turkish actress, Ayda Aksel, is known for playing the role of Azize Aslanbey in the ATV series Hercai. She is a well-known actress and voice-over artist who has been active in the Turkish entertainment industry since the 1980s.
Ayda began her acting stints in theatre as she grew up with an insatiable thirst for acting. She soon graduated to the big screens and has been part of productions such as 2022’s Baba TV series and 2011’s Love Likes Coincidences, to name a few.

Ayda Aksel learned Ballet and Cello during her primary school education. After her basic education, she studied theatre at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory in Istanbul.
The thespian was born on October 31, 1962, in Istanbul, Turkey, and even though she is 62 years old as of 2023, she is still very active in the entertainment industry.
2. She has Two Children from Two Marriages
The Turkish actress has been married twice since 1984. She first got married at the age of 22 to a civil engineer known as Haluk Semi Yungul. Although this marriage lasted until 1993, she had a daughter named Leyla Yungul born on October 08, 1988, from this marriage.
In 1995, two years after Ayda’s first marriage ended, she got married to an electrician named Atilla Akincioglu. The couple remained together until 2010 with the demise of Atilla. From this second marriage, the actress welcomed her second child named Efe Akincioglu who was born on July 21, 1997.
Leyla, Ayda’s first child partly follows in her footsteps as she is a voice-over artist. In addition to this, she is a jewelry designer and has a significant online presence where she advertises her products. Leyla shares a romantic life with Ali Kircil – a Sports Commentator, presenter, and certified coach and trainer. The couple has been together since August 2019.
Aksel’s second child, Efe, is a musician, designer, and game artist who has his music up on Spotify and other music platforms. He earned his diploma in July 2019.

The mother of 2 has her first theatre feature dating from 1980. She was part of the theatre drama known as The Trojan War Will Not Take Place by Jean Giraudoux, at the Istanbul State Theatre. Ayda has been part of about 20 theatre productions.
She continued to act in theatres until 2007; her last documented play was Angel on My Shoulder by Stephen Levi.
As for her filmography, Aksel made her debut in 1996 with the movie Bir Erkegin Anatomisi. Her first series feature was in UC Istanbul in 1983.
