Lauren Wirkus is a 36-year-old American lifestyle blogger and former cast member of the American reality TV show Summer House. She is the wife of 44-year-old American football coach David Raih whom she married in June 2020, and share two children, a daughter Goldie Sara Raih and a son Rockford David Raih, born in April 2021 and September 2022, respectively.
The mother of two and her twin sister Ashley McAtee Wirkus became cast members of Bravo’s Summer House in 2017 when it first premiered, and left the show at the end of the second season in 2018.
Bio Of Lauren Wirkus
Lauren Wirkus was born on October 16, 1988, in San Diego, California to her parents, and she is currently 36 years old. She grew up in San Diego alongside her twin sister Ashley McAtee Wirkus, an older sister, and later had 5 half-siblings from her parents who divorced while she was still young.
While growing up, the former Summer House alum and her twin sister developed a passion for math and fashion. This passion was reinforced by their mother who taught them how to resell their clothes to have more space in their wardrobes.
As regard education, she graduated from high school in 2005 before proceeding to study managerial economics at the University of California, Davis, and rounded up in 2009. While she was still there, Lauren joined the Delta Gamma sorority and went on to lead its finance committee a year before her graduation, and also interned at Morgan Stanley’s Northern California office. She hoped to secure a full-time position at the end of the internship program, but she was not hired due to the great recession at the time.
She didn’t let that disappointment get the best of her, so she moved to New York City where she got an internship in 2010 with Daymond John, the founder of FUBU. By 2012, the San Diego-born got a full-time job with a private equity firm.
Three years later, Wirkus joined the world of showbiz when she and her twin sister were cast for Summer House and started filming in the summer of 2016. The show premiered in January 2017.
Lauren and her twin left the show at the end of the second season to focus on other endeavors in 2018. She returned home to San Diego in 2019 to continue building the lifestyle brand she started while still on the show.

Who Is Her Husband?
Lauren Wirkus’ husband is 44-year-old American football coach David Raih. She has been married to him for 4 years. In a 2020 issue of So Scottdale Magazine, the California native said that she met her husband in 2019 during a Fourth of July celebration on Manhanttan Beach near Los Angeles. She further stated that his brother who is a close friend of hers speaks about him to her, but she couldn’t meet him because she was in New York at the time.
Seven months after their meeting, David proposed to Wirkus and they got married on June 27, 2020, at St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, California in the presence of their immediate families. Shortly, the reception took place at the private residence of her husband’s brother Chris Raih.
Away from their marriage, David Raih was born on September 9, 1980, in Edina, Minnesota, where he attended Saint Thomas Academy. He played football and basketball, and also participated in track events. Additionally, he was a college football quarterback at the University of Iowa, but his promising college career was ended by injury.
His coaching career began at UNCLA where he worked as an intern under former head coach Rick Neuheisel. He later became a graduate assistant coach at his alma mater, the University of Iowa, and in 2013, Lauren Wirkus’ husband joined Texas Tech as the director of school relations.
He went on to work with Green Bay Packers where he was promoted to the position of wide receivers coach in January 2018 before the Arizona Cardinals hired him in 2019 and Vanderbilt University in 2021, but he resigned at the end of the season.

Lauren Wirkus and David Raih have two children, a daughter Goldie Sara Raih, born on April 2016, 2021, and a son Rockford David Raih, born on September 24, 2022. The inspiration behind Goldie’s name emanated from her parent’s love for the name, while her middle name “sara” came from her great-great-grandmother who attended college at Belmont, Nashville where Goldie was born.
Rockford’s name, on the other hand, came from his paternal great-grandmother Mary Rocheford, while his middle name “David” is from his father.
