Luna Thurman-Busson was born on July 15, 2012, in Massachusetts, to Una Thurman and Arpad Busson. She became famous after she was given five different names at birth. Her full name is Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson.
Her mother revealed that it was her first daughter, Maya’s idea to give her all those names because she is the last child, and is only fair to give her all the names she ever wanted to name her children. After giving her all those names, they could not agree on a name to call her, hence, they decided to call her Luna.
As a child, she does not have access to social media yet, so the only information available about the 12-year-old is what her parents put out.
Luna Thurman-Busson Parents Never Got Married
Luna’s parents were never married. They met in 2007, after her mother, Uma Thurman got divorced from actor, Ethan Hawke. Uma and Arpad began dating in 2007 and they got engaged a year later.

After her parents break up, her father, Arpad Busson filed for an emergency order for her custody, at the Manhattan Supreme Court under the jurisdiction of Justice Matthew Cooper. The case ended in 2017, after lasting for 3years.
While the trial was ongoing, Luna’s father missed court hearings. Her mother, on the other hand, claimed that she had a hard time while they were together. She added that he would throw a lot of tantrums in the presence of her children.
Uma revealed that in 2009, she had to cancel a trip after her eldest daughter, Maya was involved in an accident. He had an angry outburst and yelled throughout the house, in the presence of the children.
She also added that while she was pregnant with Luna, Arpad said she couldn’t bear the Thurman last name, be a U.S. citizen or have a U.S. passport. He insisted that she would be raised catholic not minding her opinion on the matter.
Subsequently, the court granted Luna’s custody to her mother, Uma.
