Mystikal, the 54-year-old rapper, has been accused several times of sexual assault. The first time was in June 2003 when he pleaded guilty to sexual battery and extortion.
The rapper admitted to having assaulted his hairstylist in his house as well as extorted money from her after accusing her of stealing from him. The charges included two of his bodyguards.
On January 15, 2004, Mystikal was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment and was released on January 14, 2010.
Two years later, he was rearrested for another domestic abuse battery charge. After spending 9 days in detention, he was released on bail.
On August 21, 2017, Mystikal turned himself into police custody as he had a warrant for his arrest. The charge this time was no different and he was held at the Caddo Correctional Center on a $3 million bond till February 14, 2019. 22 months later, the charges were dropped for lack of evidence.
As recently as July 31, 2022, My’chelle and Million’s father was rearrested in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. Following this arrest, he faces domestic abuse charges as well as battery, simple robbery, strangulation, and of course, first-degree rape.
The father of two who has been in not less than 2 relationships has earned a reputation for his infamous charges. He is currently facing a 5-count charge which may see him spending the rest of his life incarcerated. As unfortunate as the situation is, it is hoped that the ‘Danger’ rapper’s music would continue to sell him in a better light.
