Hommer Heche Laffoon
Anne’s first son was born on March 2, 2002. Homer is the product of her first marriage with then cameraman now turned real estate broker Coleman Laffoon. His parents first met on Ellen Degeneres’s standup comedy show.
At the time Homer’s mother had been in a three-and-a-half-year-long relationship with Degeneres. In fact, they almost entered a civil union if Vermont law had legalized it.
As it is, the 22-year-old graduated from Cambell Hall School in 2020 at the onset of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Born on January 23, 2009, Atlas is Anna’s son with James Tupper, a Canadian actor. The celebrity child came shortly after Anna’s divorce from Laffon was finalized.
Atlas’ parents met on the set of Men in Trees. Though they are erroneously believed to have married at some point, the fact remains that they never did. However, their relationship lasted for them years before they parted ways in 2018.

Anne Heche is linked to (Zoey, EmmyLou, and Wyatt) the three children that her ex had with his current wife, Alexandra “Alexi” Laffoon. Zoey was born on July 22nd, 2014, EmmyLou in September 2016, and Wyatt on June 19th, 2021. Moreover, the three are unofficial members of her ex-husband’s real estate firm, The Laffoon Group.

1. Anne Heche was raped by her father
Despite the smiles that the actress flashes for the cameras, there is a dark secret that caused her pain. She revealed that her father raped her from infancy till she was 12 years old while promoting her memoir on Larry King Live.
She also alleged that her mother refused to take her to the doctor following her contraction of genital herpes from her father. Following this, the relationship between the two soured.
As it is the trauma from the experience complicated her mental health issues in adulthood.
2. Homer Heche Laffoon’s parents had a ten-year custody battle
Following the collapse of her marriage with Coleman in 2009, the former couple faced off in court over the custody of their son. The battle which started in 2007 lasted for the next decade before they came to terms.
Reportedly, both of Homer’s parents fired shots at each other. On the one hand, Coleman questioned her parenting and revealed how she neglected the teenager when he visited her on set. But to muddy the waters, apart from cursing in front of Homer, she had a shower with her son and then-boyfriend, Tupper. In response, Anna’s shots also hinted that Tupper was not a good father due to his consumption of pornography.
While this prolonged, she lost primary custody of the teenager in 2014. Moving on they renegotiated their custody arrangement in 2017 bringing their hostility to an end. As part of the arrangement, Anna had to cough up $3700 in child support. Also, she was demanded to pay 75% of his private school tuition.
Since he is now an adult, all of that is water under the bridge.
3. Anne Heche suffered severe burns in an accident in August 2022
The celebrated actress is once more an item for media frenzy after her ghastly accident on August 5, 2022. As reported by many sources, she was involved in two crashes on the fateful day.
In the first instance, she crashed into a garage at an apartment complex but sped off in her blue Mini Cooper.
Not long after leaving the first scene, the actress crashed into another home in the Mar Vista area of LA. Unlike the first crash, the second was quite fatal as it led to severe burns. Thankfully, the owner of the house was in the back and missed getting burnt in the inferno caused by the crash while Anna had to be rescued from the wreckage.
At the time, she was reported to be in critical condition by Michael McConnell of Zero Gravity Talent Management.
4. The mother of two died from inhalation and thermal injuries
Despite the suspicion that Anne Heche was driving under the influence by police, it turns out that she died from inhalation and thermal injuries. Prior, the authorities had applied to get a blood sample to determine whether she was under the influence.
In December 2022, the outcome of that investigation was released by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. Per the reports, the actress was not impaired by drugs at the time of the accident even though there were traces of previous use in her urine and blood sample.
Following her death, Anne’s oldest son, Homer was appointed the general administrator of her estate.

5. A GoFundme was set up for the woman who lost her house to Anne Heche’s crash
Following the fatal Mar Vista crash, Lynne Mishele is left with rebuilding a home after losing the first. As stated, she was living with her pups and a tortoise.
Her neighbors, John and Jennifer Durand started a GoFundme to help her rebuild her home.
