Anna Geary’s husband Kevin Sexton would become a secondary school teacher by the end of his training in 2023. He walked down the aisle with Geary, a former Irish camogie player and TV personality in October 2019, after dating her for about 3 years. Apart from his passion for teaching, he is an alumnus of Maynooth University, Kildare, Ireland with double honors.
Geary on the other hand, is a broadcaster, athlete, fitness enthusiast, and columnist. Similarly, she has an impressive resume on both TV and radio, has been a coach on RTE One’s Ireland’s Fittest Family as well as a presenter on Eir Sports Live. She is a host on Newstalk’s “High Noon” show, a panelist on “The Sean O’Rourke Show, and contributes to “The Throw In” weekly sports podcast of the Irish Independent.

Sexton was born and brought up in the Republic of Ireland, where he had his education from elementary to college level. In addition to his educational qualification, Geary’s husband has gained experience from working in the sports industry, event management, finance, and public speaking among others.
Speaking about his educational background, he attended St. Declan’s College, Cabre, Dubin to earn his leaving certificate from 2000 to 2006. Five years later, he was at Maynooth University, Kildare where he graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts double honors degree in English and Geography,
Subsequently, he enrolled at Setanta College in March 2020 and received a Certificate of Science in Strength and Conditioning in September 2021. That same year, he gained admission to Hibernia College for his Professional Master of Education (PME) to become a secondary school teacher. He will be graduating in September 2023.
In line with his educational background and other special skills, Geary’s husband applied what he learned to build experiences in the different places he has worked. He was a camp coach coordinator at Stewarts Hospital from 2010 to 2011. While at it, he also did a part-time job with Catapult Events as a promotional staff and event assistant for 2 years.
Moreover, he worked with the GAA company in Dublin for almost 9 years raising through the ranks from ticketing assistant to the position of ticketing and training executive. Before leaving the company in August 2021, he had already begun to personally work as a strength and conditioning coach in 2020.
Currently, he assists teachers with designing lesson plans as well as supporting students with tasks and activities in the classroom.

The 37 year-old TV and radio personality and her husband met sometime in 2015 through mutual friends at a pub. At the time, the pair were dating other people. 6 months later, she relocated to Dublin and they started exchanging text messages, and eventually went on a date.
A year before their wedding, Sexton proposed to her with a knee down and she accepted. The wedding took place on 11th October 2019 at St. John The Baptist church in Killeagh, Cork. After the wedding, guests including family and close friends of the bride and groom were treated to a reception at Castlemartyr Resort.
Her father, Michael walked her down the aisle.
Who Is She?
Away from marriage, Anna Geary was born on 28th July 1987 in Cork, Ireland. She attended St. Mary’s Secondary School, Charleville. Upon graduation in 2005, she immediately gained admission into the University of Limerick and graduated in 2009 with a bachelor of business in human resource management and personnel.
Hereafter, she earned various diplomas from different other institutions such as Marino College, Maynooth University, and Munster Technological University.
Career-wise, she first started in the IT world, where she spent 7 years gaining experience in recruitment, performance, analysis, public relations, and marketing. After that, she switched career paths, dedicating her full time to media and coaching.
In addition, she is a coach on Ireland’s Fittest Family reality show and a pitchside presenter of EIR Sports Live. She was a one-time presenter on RTE One’s Today Show and TV3’s The 6 O’Clock Show.
Apart from these, she had an incredible sporting career as an Irish camogie player. She has won a couple of awards and medals before retiring in 2015. They include;
