Fernanda Gómez is a social media sensation, model, and wife of well-known Mexican boxer, Canelo Alvarez. She tied the knot with the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO champion in 2021 after being in an on and off relationship with him since 2016.
She broke up with him a year into the relationship and went on to give birth to Maria Alvarez in December 2017. Thereafter, Gómez and Alvarez worked things out and got back together, and tied the knots.

It was on the 3rd of July 1996 that her parents, Ernesto Gómez Morale and Lorena Martinez Cuevas gave birth to her in Guadalajara, Mexico. The 28 year-old is not the only child of her parents as she has four siblings; Ernesto, Oscar Daniel, Ricardo Alberto, and Maria Lorena.
Fernanda Gómez and her husband share geographical proximity as he was said to have been born in the suburbs of Guadalajara on 18th July 1990. Although, her husband’s family was originally from Los Reyes, Michoacan. He is the youngest of his parent’s 8 children, having 6 older brothers and an older sister. It was reported that Bryan Alvarez is his younger half-brother.
She First Met Alvarez In 2016 And Tied The Knots After 5 Years
Fernanda and Alvarez met at a charity gala event in 2016. They wasted no time in starting a relationship. When it initially started, they managed to keep everything about the relationship private, but that changed after they were seen together celebrating the boxer’s win over Julio Cesar Chávez Jr. at a club in Las Vegas.

On 15th May 2021, the lovebirds exchanged their marital vows at the Guadalajara Cathedral in Mexico. The wedding ceremony was attended by a few family and friends.

The news about the union broke on the internet when the World Boxing Organization (WBO) congratulated the 34 year-old Mexican boxing champion and Fernanda.
A week before the wedding, Alvarez beat Billy Joe Saunders on 8th May 2021. People joked about his fight with Joe, saying he was confident of his win which was why he fixed his wedding a week after the bout.

Besides being a mother of Maria, she has three step-kids. They came from her husband’s past relationships. First among them is Emily Cinnamon, born on 12th October 2005 by Karen Beltran, Mia Ener born by Valeria Quiroz, and Saul Adiel born by Nelda Sepulveda in 2018.
According to reports, the boxing champ has not officially accepted Mia as his daughter.
