30 years old Majo was born to her parents Antonio and Susana Majo in Mexico City. Not so much is known about the artist’s educational background but she has revealed that she has always wanted to sing since she was little.

When she was about 6 years old, she performed in a talent contest with an audience numbering about 200 where she did pretty well. Her mother spotted her talent early enough and she groomed and supported her all the way.
According to Aguilar, her grandmother Flor Silvestre gave her the most important advice in her life when she was 13. Flor told her granddaughter to sing not just to sound beautiful but to sing in order to make people have a ‘feel’.

Aguilar released her first extended play (EP) record titled Tributo in 2017. The EP has cover versions of her grandmother’s signature songs like Cielo rojo and Cruz de olvido. She also did some covers of her grandfather’s songs. These include Triste Recuerdo and Albur de amor. Only Alas and Extrano were the original songs she featured in her 2017 EP.
