Snowbird Lyrics
Beneath this snowy mantle cold and clean
The unborn grass lies waiting
For its coat to turn to green
The snowbird sings the song he always sings
And speaks to me of flowers
That will bloom again in spring
When I was young
My heart was young then, too
Anything that it would tell me
That’s the thing that I would do
But now I feel such emptiness within
For the thing that I want most in life’s
The thing that I can’t win
Spread your tiny wings and fly away
And take the snow back with you
Where it came from on that day
The one I love forever is untrue
And if I could you know that I would
Fly away with you
The breeze along the river seems to say
That he’ll only break my heart again
Should I decide to stay
So, little snowbird
Take me with you when you go
To that land of gentle breezes
Where the peaceful waters flow
Spread your tiny wings and fly away
And take the snow back with you
Where it came from on that day
The one I love forever is untrue
And if I could you know that I would
Fly away with you
Yeah, if I could you know that I would
Fly away with you

And we’ve just begun, I think I’m gonna have a son

Everything bring a chain of love
And in the morning when I rise
Bring a tear of joy to my eyes
And tell me every thing’s gonna be all right
Drink it up, love him and he’ll bring you luck
And if ya find he helps your mind, better take him home
Yeah ‘n don’t you live alone, try to earn what lovers own
I’m so in love with ya honey
Everything bring a chain of love
And in the morning when I rise
Bring a tear of joy to my eyes

You Won’t See Me Lyrics
I have had enough, so act your age
We have lost the time that was so hard to find
And I will lose my mind if you won’t see me
You won’t see me
But I can’t get through, my hands are tied
I won’t want to stay, I don’t have much to say
But I can turn away if you won’t see me
You won’t see me
You won’t see me
I wouldn’t mind if I knew what I was missin’
They’re filled with tears (they’re just filled with tears)
And since I (and since I) lost you (I lost you)
It feels like years (it just feels like you)
And I just can’t go on (and I can’t, can’t go on)
If you won’t see me
You won’t see me
You won’t see me
I wouldn’t mind (I wouldn’t mind)
If I knew what I was missin’ (if I knew, I was missin’)
They’re filled with tears
And since I (and since I) lost you (lost you)
It feels like years
Yes, it seems, seems so long since you’ve been gone
And I just can’t (and I can’t) go on (go on)
If you won’t see me
You won’t see me
You won’t see me
Do-do, do-do-do-do
Do-do-do-do
Do-do, do-do-do-do
Do-do, do-do-do-do
Do-do-do-do
Do-do, do-do-do-do
Do-do, do-do-do-do

I was confused, you cleared my mind
I sold my soul, you bought it back for me
And held me up and gave me dignity
Somehow you needed me
To face the world out on my own again
You put me high upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
You needed me, you needed me
I can’t believe it’s true
I needed you and you were there
And I’ll never leave, why should I leave?
I’d be a fool ’cause I finally found someone who really cares
When I was lost you took me home
You gave me hope when I was at the end
And turned my lies back into truth again
You even called me “friend”
To face the world out on my own again
You put me high upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
You needed me, you needed me

Just one touch and then it happens every time
There I go by, just fall in love again and when I do
I can’t help myself, I fall in love with you
The way I hold you when the night just seems to fly
Easy for you to take me to a star

Hand in hand we’ll go
Dancin’ through the Milky Way

Every night you keep stayin’ on my mind
All my friends say I’ll survive
It just takes time
No I don’t see how it can if it’s broken all apart
A million miracles could never stop the pain
Or put all the pieces together again
No I don’t think time is gonna heal this broken heart
No I don’t see how it can while we are still apart
And when you hear this song
I hope that you will see
That time won’t heal a broken-hearted me
Playin’ games, different lovers, different names
They keep sayin’ I’ll survive
It just takes time
No I don’t see how it can if it’s broken all apart
A million miracles could never stop the pain
Or put all the pieces together again
No I don’t think time is gonna heal this broken heart
No I don’t see how it can while we are still apart
And when you hear this song
I hope that you will see
That time won’t heal a broken-hearted me

Wipe the sleep out of my eyes
The shaving razor’s cold and it stings
Oh what can it mean to a
Daydream believer and a
Homecoming queen
As a white knight on his steed
Now you know how happy I can be
Oh, our good times start and end
Without all I want to spend
But how much baby do we really need
Oh what can it mean to a
Daydream believer and a
Homecoming queen
