Sometimes circumstances make people realize their dreams, something they didn’t expect would be their calling from the beginning. Matt Shultz didn’t know he would grow up to take a career in music. He was born on 23rd October 1983 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the United States to his father Brad Shultz Sr. and his mother. He grew up together with his only sibling and older brother Brad.

The ex-wife of the singer was born and brought up in France on 18th March 1983. Asides, gaining popularity because of her brief marriage to Shultz, she has a little empire of her own making. She is an actress, producer, writer, and director.
She features in Cage the Elephant’s Cigarette Daydreams music video in 2014. Two years down the lane, she directed the band’s next song, Trouble in 2016. She also worked on Chaturanga and plays the role of Alice in the adventure-romance short film the Collected Kingdom in 2016.
Her marriage to Shultz took place in 2014. Before the union, reports show that they dated for more than two years.
Rather sadly, the two couldn’t settle their differences, leading to a divorce in 2018. The marriage lasted only four years.

After the divorce from Juliette Buchs, Shultz didn’t take much time before moving on. For, he found love in the eyes of another woman. He walks down the aisle with Eva Daire in 2020.

Cage the Elephant received its first nomination in 2011 when Shake Me Down video was selected in the best rock video category at the VMA. Three years later, Melophobia got a Grammy nomination for Best Alternativ Music at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
A win at the Grammys came 2 years later in 2016 when Tell Me I’m Pretty won the Grammy for Best Rock Album at the 59th Grammy Awards.
