Super Danganronpa remains one of the top-rated, avant-garde Playstation games trending in the game world that has got tongues wagging. Apart from the gameplay, Danganronpa characters and storyline have all been powerful enough to make it into a good animation.
With an out of the ordinary storyline, I know those who have not laid hands on this thriller are itching to get the tip of the icing. Here is a teaser; some premium talented high school students in a renowned school known as World Peak Academy were fluffed up to a derelict island without a clue as to how they got there or how they can flee.
In the thick of the island, they encountered a rare robot-like rabbit creature that persuaded them to develop a strong friendship and shelve their pride stressing that is the only way they can escape from that Godforsaken bizarre island they all woke up in.

The Top Danganronpa Characters
1. Nagito Komaeda
He is one of the most volatile and precarious students who got into Hope Peak Academy due to the lottery that he won and believed that the academy is the perfect hub for his ideologies. He is considered one of the most exciting Danganronpa characters.
I can say he is addicted to the hope phenomenon that most of his gifted mates share in order to conquer despair and attain true hope. His closest ally is Hajime. Nagito was spotted because he masterminded numerous killings on the island.
2. Monokuma
Remember the robotic bear? Monokuma stands to be one of the notable characters in Dangaronpa, he is the twin colored robot bear known for his brutal rule. He passed off the diktat for the students to murder themselves and paraded himself as a dictator, as he kept hostage of the students on the island. Monokomu is an advocate of despair.
3. Izuru Kamukura
He is the brainchild of Hope Peak Academy’s experiment. He is tasked with all the academy’s research and has brought great breakthroughs in the Academy. Fans of the game series think of Izuru Kamukura as one of the highly stirring Danganronpa characters.
With the passage of time, his entire being was distorted to the point that he felt no impulse of pity and fail to integrate with the human race consequently, he was responsible for the murder of scores of his classmates yet the heinous act was kept a secret in a bit to protect his identity as an artificial creature.
4. Himiko Yumeno (Ultimate Magician)
My heart goes out to this good-natured character often thought of as one of the compassionate Danganronpa characters. Hamiko Yumeno also known as the Ultimate Magician gave up herself as a sacrificial lamb to save the lives of the Danganronpa in the heat of the killing game. What greater love can anyone offer more than to give up her life for her friends, she is definitely a hero worthy of emulation.
5. Keebo
He is an excellent character. At first, he made advances towards trying to destroy the entire academy, yet he still believes in Hope. Even though he is regarded as a second fiddle by the audience in the killing spree within the series.
6. Hajime Hinata
He is a unique character known for his “Dutch uncle” attributes. From the outset, he was unable to come to terms with the life-threatening situation they all found themselves and he fails to identify his true talents thus taking up the name Ultimate which got him having low self-esteem as he felt estranged.
7. Tsumugi Shirogane “Ultimate Cosplayer”
She is an amazing game changer. Her killings were often insolent in the island she is always cunning in her dealings that other characters might not necessarily suspect her moves because she is the mild type.
8. Usami
It is Usama that whisked the classmates to the mysterious island against their wishes, and then she tries to play nice by advising the classmates not be at arm’s length but to put aside their differences and become friends promising to help them find their way out of the island if they do so. Don’t forget, Usami is a robotic rabbit character shredded in much secrecy.
9. Maki “Ultimate Assassin”
This selection will not be complete without enlisting Maki Haruka, the Ultimate nursery school teacher who is also known as the ultimate assassin. This title did not just come up from the blues, she was an accurate killer, that pull through all of her killing game.
She was set to be the ultimate survivor until she came in contact with Kaitos, who changed her psychic orientation and she metamorphosed from a serial killer to a caregiver as she decided to start helping the students and showed genuine love to them. This was a rare virtue that earned her the admiration of other students.
10. Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu “Ultimate Yakuza”
This character owes his life to Peko who died in order to save. Even though he use to be mean person, he suddenly felt the need to be a better person hence, he started being nice to more classmates, to extent that he literarily begged Hiyokos to forgive him, however, it is heartwarming that he survived throughout the series.
11. Akane Owari “Ultimate Gymnast”
This is another remarkable character she may have stirred up some form of hate, but she might have been judged wrongly. Arguably, her actions might have been informed due to the fact that fate has treated her quite badly in time past with a series of sad events happening to her that were not really her fault. I am sure if you look deep you will discover who she really is.
12. Makoto Naegi
This is one of the lead characters regarded as the ultimate hope. He shared in all of the ordeals of the other characters even though he can be nagging, but he later became fidgety, nevertheless, he did help the world to resuscitate hope which gave him the title “Ultimate Hope” he is one of my favorite characters.

13. Chiaki Nanami “Ultimate Gamer”
Chiaki Nanami is quite a wonderful character who dedicated her talents towards providing succor to everybody around her. She maintained a very cordial relationship with her classmates in the island. Her sudden demise set everyone into great mourning and despair creeps in because she stands as the hope of the class, she was indeed a force to reckon with.
14. Gonta Gokuhara “Ultimate Entomologist”
Just like Chiaki, Gonta is also a very kindhearted character who cared for everybody he would go as far as killing in order to save his friends, his deeds will remain fresh in the minds of his classmates because also helps some of his friends to escape in the end.
15. Ultimate Despair
This is a notorious and mysterious cult group whose main aim is to destroy humankind and the society. As their name implies, they chaired the course of despair in every platform they can lay their hands on like the media, social media, internet they will stop at nothing to create chaos and disharmony in the human society.
