The reality television series is a paranormal documentary that has been checking out locations that are reportedly haunted across the globe to validate or debunk claims that have been made about them. 1. Goatman’s Bridge (Season 13, Episode 13)
This episode sees the Ghost Adventures crew travel to Denton, Texas, where they investigate Goatman’s bridge and the forest surrounding it. They are terrorized by unseen entities: objects get thrown at them, they hear whispers, and can feel eyes following them around. A camera-woman had a terrible breakdown on tape after being taunted by a demonic spirit that she quit the job after. The bridge is reported to have been used for satanic worship and rituals.
2. Hell Hole Prison (Season 12, Episode 8)
Even without the probability of paranormal activity, prisons have a reputation for being horrendous and downright scary. There’s no end to the violence that goes on within the walls of such institutions. However, when the crew arrives at this prison, the supernatural entities they encounter are surprisingly friendly. The ghosts all perform on a stage and respond intelligently to the crew’s questions and comments. The ensuing drama makes this one of the best Ghost Adventures episodes of all time.
3. St. Ann’s Retreat (Season 13, Episode 7)
On Halloween night in 1997, a group of teenagers visited Saint Ann’s Retreat which is fabled to house hellhounds and the ghosts of dead nuns, and their lives became a living nightmare. They were captured, held hostage, and terrorized by three armed security men believed to have been possessed by a demon. The crew visited the site and listened to the stories of the teenagers (now adults) who were victims of that night’s terrifying events.
4. Zozo Demon (Season 10, Episode 3)
The Zozo demon attacks and possesses victims through a spirit board. For those who love a good horror story and Ouija boards, this episode is too good to miss. The team arrives in Oklahoma City to observe and examine a home that has been terrorized by this cruel demon for years. This episode is sure to send chills racing down your spine.
5. Stone Lion Inn (Season 14, Episode 1)
There are a lot of interesting things that make this one of the best Ghost Adventures episodes. From the history of the inn which used to be a mortuary, to the story of a robber’s corpse that was kept on display there for decades, and alleged paranormal activity, the episode is sizzling with intrigue and mystery. You get to see things being knocked over and moved without anyone touching them.
6. Lewis Flats School (Season 16, Episode 8)
The setting for this episode used to be a school but was turned into a steakhouse after it burned down. The adventurers can gather some pretty compelling evidence of extraordinary events including audio responses, fluctuating lights, spikes in the electromagnetic field, strange sounds, and moving shadows caught on camera. It’s spooky and delightfully entertaining.
7. The Washoe Club: Final Chapter (Season 16, Episode 7)
This investigation is quite personal because the team has a history with this location, so it’s nostalgic and emotional to see them back there. In the end, they’re able to gather evidence of intelligent communication with spirits, an odd mist in the room, and a series of strange footsteps.
8. Magnolia Plantation (Season 2, Episode 4)
The crew makes history as the first paranormal team to be granted permission to investigate this 5,000-acre property with a bitter history. It was once a cotton farm where thousands of slaves labored and died in horrifying conditions. The team manages to uncover evidence of voodoo rituals allegedly performed by the slaves to harm the plantation owners. The souls and spirits of these slaves still wander the land.
9. Haunted Harvey House (Season 11, Episode 5)
Two ancient buildings are at the center of this investigation and the team’s discoveries make it one of the best Ghost Adventures episodes. Watching this, you’d be forgiving for thinking you were viewing scenes from the movie Paranormal Activity. That’s how weird, dark, and creepy things get.
10. Old Lincoln County Hospital (Season 11, Episode 4)
Putting some of their newly acquired technical gadgets to good use, the team goes to work on an abandoned hospital in Tenessee that has been featured in numerous testimonies of paranormal activity. They discover some pretty interesting events that are bound to keep your eyes hooked to your screen.
11. Preston Castle (Season 2, Episode 1)
The crew finds themselves dealing with a bit more than they can handle when they set out to investigate Preston Castle. The abandoned building used to be a reformatory where parentless children and juvenile offenders were sent. A history of torture, an unsolved murder, and countless deaths from disease outbreaks are just some of the things fueling the angry ghosts that reside in the building.

12. Idaho State Tuberculosis Hospital (Season 18, Episode 12)
This Ghost Adventures episode is bound to have you feeling things and struggling with your beliefs about the supernatural. The location is a former tuberculosis hospital that has now been converted into an inn and appears to still be housing the tortured souls of the dead.
